A 30 year old man was arrested by Local Police in calle Larios, Málaga, for allegedly repeatedly beating his 7 year old daughter and biting her cheek.
The detainee dealt his daughter several blows to the face and bit her cheek, forcing local residents to intervene. Local Police detained the man who admitted his actions but stated that he only gave his daughter two light taps and a mild bite on the cheek as a reprimand for bad behaviour. He has been charged with abuse within the family.
The young girl was taken to the hospital for a check-up. She apparently spontaneously told police that she had been ‘bad’ and that it was all her fault she had been hit and bitten.
The girl’s parents are currently awaiting a decision on custody issues. The father is also under review for a similar act of abuse carried out in February of this year.
