Two people arrested for their alleged involvement in causing a fire in the Loma del Real area of Mijas last Thursday have been released on bail.
The fire, which necessitated the evacuation of 70 people from the nearby urbanisations of El Coto and El Lagarejo, was apparently started when the men were operating cutting machinery and sparks ignited the area.
The fire destroyed four hectares of land, two agricultural and two urban.
