Four people were injured on Thursday night, two of them seriously, in a fire in an apartment block in calle Aniceto Sánz in the Macarena district of Sevilla.
The fire began at around 23:00 and a number of residents had to be evacuated from the building. The injured are three men aged around forty years, two suffering burns and one suffering burns and a head injury, and a 50 year old woman who suffered from smoke inhalation.
The injured were transferred to the Virgen del Rocío and the Virgen Macarena hospitals in Sevilla.
