Guardia Civil officers in Rota, Cádiz, have arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of the rape of a woman in Isla Cristina, Huelva, on October 28th.
The woman was found at 07:20 on Sunday October 28th outside a popular leisure area in Lepe. She was in shock, disoriented and bleeding. She was taken to the Health Centre and then transferred to the hospital Infanta Elena in Huelva where, due to the severity of her injuries, underwent surgery.
Police from Lepe travelled to Rota to make the arrest. The alleged attacker had a permanent residence in Rota but was also a resident of Lepe.
