Metro Málaga is recruiting staff in what is being described as the most important employment offer in Málaga province so far this year, and expects to receive up to 20,000 applications for the 95 posts on offer. The deadline for applications is December 3rd 2012.
The positions offered are 63 line operators (drivers and supervisors at train stations), 20 technical operations (in the central control station), a manager, a health technician, two technical office technicians, a systems technician, two administrative secretaries, one responsible for maintaining communications, a maintenance operative for electromechanical equipment, a customer service office coordinator and two customer service operators.
The recruitment relates to the commercial exploitation of lines 1 and 2 up to El Perchel-María Zambrano, where the two lines meet, and is in anticipation of the commissioning of the Metro at the end of 2013.
