As from today, Thursday November 22nd, the supermarket chain Mercadona has a new outlet in Algarrobo, the facility having required an investment of €3 million. The chain now has eleven stores in the Axarquia – three in Rincon de la Victoria, two in Vélez, two in Torre del Mar, one in Chilches, one in Nerja and one in Torrox – and 87 throughout the province of Málaga.
The new facility, located at the intersection of the A-7206 and the old N-340 coast road, has a sales area of 1,600 square metres and employs 20 permanent staff. There is also parking for 175 vehicles.
