A fire on Sunday afternoon destroyed the municipal cleaning service warehouse in Ronda, the damage being so bad that the building will have to be demolished.
Some machinery, around two hundred brooms and other tools were destroyed in the blaze which was first reported at 18:00. Fortunately it was not a working day and no-one was injured.
The fire is under investigation but one hypothesis being considered is that the fire was set intentionally. Support for this theory comes from the fact that the entrance to the facility showed signs of having been forced open.
