Rincón de la Victoria Council has approved the technical specifications and administrative provisions relating to the contract to supply and manage the electricity supply to the municipality, a move the Council claims will result in 20% savings on power bills.
Maintenance is currently carried out by the municipal Operational Services and costs around €200,000, but this aspect will also form part of the contract.
The Council believes the award is important as it will not only save money, but also reduce consumption and deliver environmental benefits.
