A 54 year old man, J.R.C., handed himself into police after allegedly shooting one person dead and injuring another in Moaña, Pontevedra, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident took place at around 04:00 in calle Fernando García Arenal, near the port. The injured man managed to flee the scene and was taken to hospital in Povisa.
Five units of police surrounded the house belonging to the alleged killer, anticipating a cautionary approach until morning. However, it appears the alleged killer was out having breakfast.
Following the intervention of his brother, the man gave himself up and is now in custody.
