Atletico Madrid closed the gap on the leaders at the top of La Liga to a mere eight points after a 2-0 win against Levante, Adrian and Koke doing the damage.
Five first half goals were enough to see Real Madrid safely past Valencia, Hihuain starting the ball rolling in the eighth minute and then Ronaldo and Di Maria getting two each. Real are now only fifteen points behind top placed Barcelona.
