Fishermen this morning discovered the body of missing 22 year old María Isabel Sierra Cuerva floating in the rio Guadalquivir in La Puebla del Río, Sevilla. The area was searched by police officers yesterday which has led to the conclusion that the body had remained submerged for around 72 hours.
María Isabel Sierra Cuerva was last seen on Thursday after visiting her boyfriend in La Puebla del Río. The pair apparently had an argument and Maria decided to walk back to his house along the river.
The body showed no apparent signs of violence and an autopsy is being carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
