A 28 year old worker died on Monday afternoon at a warehouse on the Velez Rubio industrial estate in Almeria when a two ton sack of almonds fell on top of him.
The incident occurred at around 16:00 on Monday afternoon at the premises of ‘Almendras Utrera’ on the Velez Rubio industrial estate. The victim was a resident of neighbouring Velez Blanco.
This is the second industrial fatality in Almeria so far this year.
