A 26 year old Moroccan woman needed hospital treatment for a serious stab wound to her arm following a domestic dispute at her home in calle Valladolid, Fuengirola. Her husband, also a Moroccan national, has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the attack.
At 22:50 on Saturday night, neighbours alerted police to report that the woman had been assaulted. She had suffered a severe injury to her forearm caused by a kitchen knife. Although the injury was serious, it was not life-threatening. She was taken to the Hospital Costa del Sol.
