Guardia Civil officers have seized 590 kilos of cocaine hidden on board a yacht moored at a private dock in Sotogrande port in San Roque, Cádiz province.
The vessel came under suspicion as it headed through international water towrads the Spanish coast and was monitored. Running with no lights on the final part of its journey, the Guardia Civil followed the yacht into the port. Officers already in the port arrested the two crew members.
In the cabin, the officers discovered bags of cocaine. One of the detainees was carrying a gun and both have been remanded in custody.
