The Domingo de Resurrección procession is organised by the brotherhood of Jesús Resucitado y Maria Santisima de la Asunción and is the last of the Easter parades in Nerja.
Following Mass at the iglesia El Salvador on the Balcón de Europa, the procession slowly moved off on its way round the streets of Nerja, three huge thrones forming part of the cavalcade.
Music was provided by members of the Nerja Municipal Band. The procession is one of the least sombre of the week.
The skies were cloudy but thankfully the wind had died down. A good ending to the Holy Week celebrations. Domingo de Resurrección photos
