Moroccan athlete El Mouaziz, a member of Club Nerja-UMA, has won the XXIII Málaga Half Marathon, taking the lead from the very start and setting a quick pace.
Second was Rafael Iglesias from Salamanca and in third place was the sampedreño Javier Díaz Carretero. The winning time for El Mouazziz was 1 hour, 4 minutes and 9 seconds.
First place in the female category went to Raquel López of the Club Nerja Atletismo-Cueva de Nerja-UMA. She finished in thirteenth position overall in a time of 1 hour, 23 minutes and 24 seconds. Over 5,000 people took part in the event.
