A noteworthy performance by young Nerja swimmer Lourdes María Herrero at the Second Córdoba Swimming Trophy held at the Teresa Alcántara Sports Centre at the weekend, as she came away with three medals and has qualified for the National Championships.
Lourdes María Herrero, the Andalucia Champion, won gold in the 100m freestyle and her time of 1’09 “60 meant she qualified for the National Championships to be held in Manresa on July 12th, 13th and 14th. She is the first swimmer from Nerja to qualify for the National Championships.
