I was passing the Round Bar in calle Gloria, Nerja, so thought, ‘tapas time’. The ‘tortilla’ (Spanish omelette) looked very tempting, and I’m partial to a good tortilla, so I gave it a whirl.
It was freshly made, still steaming inside but, unfortunately, on this occasion, it didn’t live up to expectation, which is unusual for the Round Bar. Perhaps a bit light on seasoning, but whatever it was it lacked flavour and was a bit too squidgy inside. Beer and a tapa, €1.80.
