National Police have arrested a 33 year-old man suspected of robbery, burglary and escape from prison.
The investigation began on April 30th following a complaint of a robbery at a house where the occupant was at home at the time.
Police were able to identify the perpetrator as a man who had failed to return to prison after being allowed out on leave. There were also seven other complaints against the individual in Málaga and Granada.
Police eventually located the suspect who was in the process of robbing a warehouse When approached, the suspect tried to flee in a car, ramming another vehicle in the process. The suspect initially gave a false name and was detained until his true identity was established.
