National Police officers arrived in the nick of time to save a 58-year-old man who was trying to hang himself with a nylon cord attached to the fencing of a residential home for seniors in Torre del Mar.
The residential home was the residence of the man’s former partner and he was unable to accept the change in circumstances and decided to end his life.
Police officers arrived in time to cut the man down and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The man was then transferred to hospital in Vélez-Málaga.
