Sevilla bullfighter José Antonio “Morante de la Puebla” has undergone surgery after being seriously gored during the first bullfight of the Huesca Feria on Saturday.
The bullfighter was gored three times in the leg, the depth of the wounds being 30, 20 and 15 centimetres. He underwent a three hour operation under local anaesthetic and is now in the ICU of the San Jorge Clinic in Huesca.
