Starting today, Monday, and continuing for a week the DGT will be increasing the number of ‘speed controls’. particularly on roads with one lane in each direction where they say that 70% of accidents involve fatalities.
The Guardia Civil will also be increasing the number of checkpoints on roads as well as intensifying the use of the Pegasus radar system installed in helicopters.
