An 80-year-old woman died and a man was seriously injured after they were hit by a car on a zebra crossing in Paseo Marqueses de Linares in Linares, Jaén.
At 21:20 the Emergency Services were notified that two people had been run down on a zebra crossing and one of them was trapped under a car.
When the police, firemen and medics arrived on the scene the elderly woman was already dead. The injured man, also around 80 years old, was transferred to hospital in Linares.
