Employees at the Nerja Caves have been participating in various courses and training programmes as part of a project to constantly improve staff training.
One group completed an introductory course in speleology endorsed by the Andalucian Federation of Speleology and taught by Antonio Ortega of the Nerja Caves Caving Club. At the end of the course they were all presented with certificates.
Customer Service staff were taken on a guided tour of the interior of the caves and members of the administrative staff attended a short course on financial analysis, languages, customer service and filing.
Further courses are already being planned for next year.
