National Police and Inland Revenue officers have seized a shipment of ten tons of drugs on board a fishing boat and have so far arrested 13 people, all Moroccan nationals.
The boat was intercepted fifty miles off Cabo de San Vicente. The authorities had been monitoring the organisation for some time and had become aware that a new shipment of drugs, destined eventually for distribution in Spain and other parts of Europe, was on its way from Morocco.
The investigation is still open.
