It was ‘approximately’ three days, so hardly surprising the work is still in full swing at the bottom of avenida Castilla Perez this morning. There have been problems with the drainage/sewage system in this area for a very long time,with regular visits from the pumping lorry. Hopefully the problems will now be resolved.
Very quiet around town now, as one might expect at this time of year. Many of the regular terraces have either disappeared until Easter or are only beimg put out for part of the day.
The currency exchange place at the beginning of calle El Barrio, at the Plaza Cavana end, is closed until January 7th. Their other office is on avenida Castilla Perez.
