The municipality of Cuevas Bajas in Málaga province celebrated its IX Fiesta de la Zanahoria Morá (Festival of the Mora Carrot), an event which attracted around 7,000 visitors.
The Mora carrot, a curious tuber, only grows in this one area and is in danger of extinction. In addition to health benefits, this particular carrot is said to have aphrodisiacal properties.
