The president of the Federation of Food Banks of Andalucia, Javier Peña, has announced that a little over three million kilos have been collected during this year’s campaign, which took place on November 29th and 30th.
The number of collection centres was increased from 210 to 270 and the number of volunteers taking part rose from 13,000 to 19,000, the net result being the doubling of the amount of food collected.
