A 37-year-old man had to be rescued on Sunday after getting stuck in a well while trying to rescue his dog.
After his dog fell into a well in an olive grove, the man tied a rope around his waist and tried to rescue the animal. However, he was unable to get out and was apparently in danger of drowning.
His brother alerted the authorities and the man was successfully rescued. He suffered no serious injuries but was taken to hospital in Ronda for a medical check.
