Police are investigating a fire at an apartment block in San Cristóbal, Almeria, in which four people, including three children, had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire began on a couch in the entrance hall to the apartment block and witnesses reported seeing someone running away, leading police to consider that the fire could have been started intentionally.
The injured were taken to the Torrecárdenas hospital for treatment. Their injuries were described as ‘mild’.
