A technical unit carrying out a survey of homes in Bilbao La Vieja discovered the body of a 68-year-old woman who apparently died about two years ago, sadly without anyone noticing her absence.
The technical team entered the house, believed to be unoccupied, during a routine survey of the building.
Prelimnary indications are that the death was from natural causes, although an autopsy is being carried out.
