A 74-year-old woman died on Tuesday following a fire at her home in Aguilar de la Frontera, Córdoba.
The fire occurred in a second floor apartment of a block on the corner of calle Moralejo and the Paseo de las Coronadas.
The victim’s daughter apparently went out to the terrace to hang out clothes and it was at this time that the fire began. It is thought the fire was caused by a brazier or stove. The home was quite badly damaged although other apartments in the building were not affected.
