Police in Ubeda, Jaén, have arrested four people, doctors and nurses at a Health Centre, who were involved in allegedly providing false medical certificates.
The doctors and nurses were signing medical certificates without the patient even being present, without carrying out the necessary medical checks and in some cases forging signatures.
The detainees have been charged with forgery, abuse of power and professional misconduct. The investigation began when irregularities came to light regarding a driving licence application.
