Torrox Council has set aside €100,000 in the 2014 budget, expected to be approved next week, as its contribution towards the €500,000 project to stabilise Ferrara Playa.
The Council will provide €100,000, the Provincial Council €100,000 and the Central Government will provide the remaining €300,000. It is hoped that the work can be put out to tender by the end of this year.
