A sub-Saharan migrant died on Friday morning after being airlifted from the boat in which he was travelling with nine other people.
The boat, with ten sub-Saharan males on board, was located about nine miles from Tarifa after a call was received from someone in Morocco.
One of the passengers was suffering from severe hypothermia and was airlifted to the island of Las Palomas. Unable to overcome the seriousness of his condition the man subsequently died.
