Police units attached to the Junta de Andalucia continue to crack down on illegal gambling in the region, this time raiding clandestine bingo sessions in Fuengirola and and the Málaga suburb of El Palo.
In Fuengirola, 35 people were engaged at 11 tables when police arrived on the scene. In calle Escultor Paco Palma in El Palo, a total of 80 people were busy playing bingo when the raid occurred.
Last year, police dismantled six illegal bingo sessions in Málaga province, three of these in Vélez-Málaga.
