The Council has announced the start of work to build a heliport on the land by the roundabout down to Burriana beach, the project financed through European funds.
The heliport is for the use of the Emergency Services, hence its location near to the Health Centre. Currently, as happened only last week, any helicopters belonging to the Emergency Services land on the football pitch.
