The central access to the port of Algeciras, the most important port in Spain, is to be named after Paco de Lucia, the most internationally well-known algericeño.
The statue of Paco de Lucia will also be moved from its present location to the port. The central access to the port is currently under construction and the project also includes large pedestrian areas.
