Sevilla to face Benfica in Europa League final

A header from Stephane Mbia in the fifth minute of added time sent Sevilla into the Europa League final on away goals at the expense of Valencia.

Sevilla won the first leg 2-0, but it became 2-2 after just 26 minutes after Sofiane Feghouli’s deflected strike and an own goal by goalkeeper Beto. Jeremy Mathieu’s shot after the break put Valencia ahead in the tie, nut Mbia’s last gasp header saw Sevilla through to face Benfica in Turin on May 16th.

In the other match, Benfica held out against Juventus to go through to the final, despite being reduced to ten men after 67 minutes and playing the last few minutes with just nine. The match ended 0-0, 2-1 on aggregate to Benfica.
