A 51-year-old man has been arrested after being clocked at 161 kph on the A-384 near Campillos. He was charged with a crime against road safety.
The speed limit on the road in question is sixty kilometres per hour.
In March, the driver of a motorcycle, a resident of Estepona, was charged with an alleged crime against road safety when driving at 219 kilometres per hour on a stretch of road in the municipality of San Roque, the speed limit on that occasion being 100 kph.
