A fire in Dos Hermanas in the early hours of Tuesday morning has resulted in the death of a six-year-old boy and injuries to a number of others, including a baby.
The fire began at around 01:55 in an apartment on the third floor of a building in plaza Seixa in the Los Montecillos district of Dos Hermanas.
In addition to the tragic death of a six-year-old boy. a thirteen-month-old baby and a 14-year-old boy are in a very serious condition in hospital and a 36-year-old woman is also being treated in hospital.
It is thought that the fire began in the bedroom of the apartment where the 6-year-old and 14-year-old were sleeping. The baby was in the same room as the mother. The actual cause of the blaze is not yet known.
