A 62-year-old Dutch national drowned at Pez Espada beach in Torremolinos on Friday afternoon.
At 18:50 on Friday, a relative called the authorities to say that the man had gone for a walk and a swim four hours earlier but had not returned.
National and Local Police officers located a body at Pez Espada beach which was subsequently confirmed to be that of the missing Dutch national.
