The Council has signed an agreement in order to continue the Municipal Plan to Aid the Unemployed with Child Care Spaces.
Those interested in more information should go to the Information Centre for Women and applications can be made as from July.
There are twenty nursery places available at a cost of €50 per month and either or both parents can apply, not only the mothers. The plan is designed to provide a few hours for unemployed parents to be able to look for work or engage in training and relates to children aged up to three years.
