The Asociación de Vecinos de las Protegidas – the area around Plaza de Andalucia, Nerja – have produced a new guide book to the area entitled ‘En el corazón de Nerja’ (In the Heart of Nerja).
The guide, with a cover photograph by David Arenas, provides a brief history of the neighborhood as well as information about festivals and activities taking place throughout the year, a list of the shops and bars, photographs and a map. The booklet, which is published in Spanish and English, is available from the Tourist Office and other local establishments.
