Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid. Chelsea had wanted the 25-year-old striker to complete the £32 million move prior to the World Cup, but that proved impossible.
Diego Costa’s tally of 27 goals in La Liga last season was bettered only by Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo with 31 and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi with 28.
