Guardia Civil and Local Police in Montilla, Córdoba, are coordinating the search for 62-year-old Joaquina Requena who disappeared on Thursday.
Around one hundred people, volunteers, family and friends, have joined in the search effort which has now been expanded to cover both sides of the N-331 in the direction of Aguilar de la Frontera.
When last seen, Joaquina Requena was wearing a beige skirt and a print-patterned blouse.
