A fire in Alfarnate, Málaga province, on Friday afternoon rapidly destroyed three hectares of land before it was smothered.
The fire was reported at 16:20 and firefighters from Periana joined locals in fighting the blaze. The fire was only active for about one hour but the flames spread quickly.
