A police officer has been arrested in Salamanca for allegedly shooting dead his business partner and friend in a bar in Madrid.
The arrest occurred two days after the body of a 25-year-old man, the son of a Municipal police officer, was found dead in the Villarosa bar in calle Mota del Cuervo in the Madrid suburb of Hortaleza. The victim had been shot twice in the stomach.
The victim and the detainee are said to have been close friends and partners in the administration of the bar.
