A 66-year-old woman had to be rescued on Friday after falling down a slope in El Torcal, Antequera, suffering an open fracture of her leg in the process.
The incident occurred at around 13:00 when the woman, who was with her husband and a nephew, fell down a slope about 400 metres from the Visitor Centre in El Torcal. She suffered an open fracture of her left leg.
After some preliminary first aid by firefighters she was transferred to hospital.
