A 40-year-old man, recently returned from Nigeria, is in isolation in the Málaga Regional Hospital until tests have been completed to confirm or rule out the Ebola virus.
The man presented himself at the hospital and was immediately put into isolation according to the protocols established by the World Health Organisation.
The Regional Health Ministry recommends that anyone suspecting they may be affected by the Ebola virus to avoid contact with other people and to contact the authorities via the 061 Emergency number and avoid going to a health centre.
